Belle & Dan

Belle and Dan enjoyed a beautiful summer wedding in July.

Belle loves white and green! She’s a performer and her personal style is very glamorous, so incorporating Sixties glamour into the floral design suited her personality and  exquisite wedding dress. Belle is a princess and Dan is her prince. They are very family-oriented and love the romanticism of fairytales and happily-ever-after. This was definitely a fairytale wedding.

Belle used to work for Disney and often played Disney princesses, so she used this as her theme. She wanted drama in her bouquet and a waterfall shape, so I used white orchids to create a long, flowing and dramatic but classy bouquet. I created a bride’s bouquet and two smaller matching bouquets for her bridesmaids, who were her two beautiful sisters, using white cymbidium orchids, steel grass and aspidistra leaves.

I also created nine buttonholes, corsages, two altar vases, ten tall table decorations, five cluster vases of flowers for the tables, six hanging vases, three hanging pew ends and five vases for the reception. For these additional items, I used white cymbidium orchids, avalanche roses, white gladioli, white and green lisianthus, white larkspur, white freesia, snowflake roses, aramanthus, Bells of Ireland, bear grass, steel grass, and lime green chrysanthemums.

The wedding day was beautiful, even though it poured with rain all day! The venue was stunning, glamorous and light, and Belle was absolutely the belle of the ball!
