Rosie & Ed

Rosie and Ed planned their October wedding with a woodland/festival vibe.

Rosie wanted blousy, loose blooms with large heads, bright berry colours and cream with trailing ribbon in berry red. She also loves gypsophelia. I decided to use pink rhodos roses, vuvuzela roses, cherry o roses, white lisianthus, cerise spray roses, snowflake spray roses, xellence gypsophelia, eucalyptus, parvifolia eucalyptus, roma astrantia, white and pink wax flowers, white gladioli and cerise gladioli. Rosie and Ed are really easy going and relaxed, and were very happy with everything we suggested.

For this wedding, I created one bride’s bouquet, seven bridesmaids’ bouquets, a groom’s buttonhole, a best man’s buttonhole, seven ushers’ buttonholes, two father’s buttonholes, two mother’s corsages, and two large arrangements in silver buckets for the front of the church. I collaborated with my team mate Janet on Rosie and Ed’s wedding, and she was a huge help with buttonholes and the larger arrangements.

The wedding day had a lovely sense of fun and festival, with a sprinkle of ‘Middle Earth’ as they love Lord of the Rings, and that was reflected in the outdoors theme! Pangdean Barn, just north of Brighton, was the perfect setting for this whimsical wedding.
